Whether you're looking for a peaceful retreat or an adventure-filled getaway Larks Rise is a great base.

Larks Rise Annex is a lovely spacious one bedroom accommodation that is separate from the main house and has its own entrance.  It has everything you'll need for a wonderful stay including a very comfortable superking size bed and a fabulous modern shower room.  There are french doors with a Juliette balcony from the bedroom that look over the fields and can open to let the countryside in.  There is a fully equipped kitchen with induction hob and double oven with a relaxing lounge/dining area.  The annex has wooden floors with underfloor heating throughout.  An outside seating area is available for your personal use.

Larks Rise is a perfect place for a getaway and is also perfectly located for exploring the Suffolk Heritage Coast with all it has to offer.

This  quiet lane in the beautiful Suffolk countryside is just a magical place to be.  The peace and tranquility is wonderful and the big skies and starlit nights are something to behold. However just a short drive away and you can be in the market town of Framlingham or the historical town of Saxmundham (both approx 10 mins drive). Both have lots of independent shops and eateries and Framlingham is home to The Castle on the Hill.  We are also just a hop skip and a jump (well approx 25 mins drive) away from the Heritage Coast with all it has to offer - Dunwich/Southwold and Aldeburgh are just a few of the places to visit.  If you'd rather not get in you car there are some wonderful walks around and the National Cycle Route goes passed the end of the lane. It is also a fabulous area for bird/nature lovers with RSPB Minsmere just 12 miles away.
If you're into history there are many wonderful examples of historic buildings within the vicinity  including Orford Castle, Sibton and Leiston Abbeys, Woodbridge Tidemill, Somerleyton Hall and Gardens to name but a few.
For the wartime enthusiast Parham Airfield museum is just 5 miles away .
If you're into classic cars we have numerous events taking place nearby throughout the year.  Helmingham Concours  and Classics at Glemham are both just down the road.
We're almost spoilt for choice when it comes to wonderful food and drink in the area with many festivals .  Beccles and Bungay each have their own and Aldeburgh Food and Drink festival is held at the wonderful Snape Maltings that is renowned for its world famous Concert Hall. That takes us on to music and the arts with Thorington open air Theatre just 20 mins drive away as a fabulous example of the truly wonderful variety of events and places there is to do in our lovely area.
Peace and quiet if you want it but plenty to do as well - What more could you ask for ?
